We're leading a Statewide movement to support youth mental health through one POWERFUL license plate
We work directly with students, educators & communities to address anxiety, depression, suicide and trauma. Through presentations, trainings and trauma-informed approaches like Handle With Care, we create measurable impact reaching thousands of students and adults, engaging communities from local schools to national

Real conversations with students about anxiety, depression, and asking for help—delivered directly in classrooms and school communities.

Equipping adults with practical tools to recognize and respond when a young person is struggling.

From local schools to national stages, bringing youth mental health into the conversation across California and the USA.

Helping schools build spaces and systems where students feel safe, supported, and seen every day.

The California Department of Education is processing the application for the Mental Health Awareness License Plate to the DMV. Please join us in supporting the movement to bring Mental Health into the Light, even if just a traffic light. All monies raised will go to supporting youth mental health in our schools.
Our son Colin was a wonderful young man, son, brother and fierce friend who lost his battle with depression at age 15. He could calm a rambunctious Scout Troop with just his harmonica and cause hearts to soar with his French Horn. Colin is remembered for his kindness to others and hugs that took away all that was hurting. His humor and wisdom were beyond his years. We miss him so much. It is in his honor that BeingwellCA was formed to help others find the resources they need when the world is just too much.

Getting the word out is a continuing process, and a public awareness campaign takes time and money. Your generous financial support will enable us to promote the 4COLIN Mental Health Awareness License Plate campaign and support on-campus Wellness Centers in California.
